ADRRN Annual General Meeting 2025 Report

ADRRN held its Annual General Meeting on 7 December 2025 in Bangkok, bringing together 70 representatives from 51 member and partner organisations, with additional participation online. The AGM created space to reflect on the year, strengthen collaboration across the network, and set priorities for 2026 grounded in locally led action and practical partnership.

Across the day, members engaged in candid discussion and peer exchange, sharing experience from the region, surfacing common challenges, and identifying where joint action and knowledge-sharing can be most useful. Sessions were designed to be practical, with a strong emphasis on learning across members and hubs, and translating insights into clear directions for 2026. Key updates

  • Network Growth: ADRRN membership grew to 84 organisations across 18 countries.

  • Finance Overview: The 2025 financial summary was shared with members.

  • Locally Led Adaptation Grants Under the SIDRRA Project: Grantees got an opportunity to showcase lessons and insights from the four selected projects.

  • Thematic Hubs: The 8 hubs got a physical space to display updates from their work in 2025. Additionally, the new Health and Response Networking Hub was introduced.

  • ADRRN Knowledge Hub: Members were updated about the launch of the ADRRN Knowledge Hub on ALNAP’s HELP Library to strengthen shared learning.

  • Humanitarian Reset Panel: Members and partners led a panel discussion on what collaboration must look like in light of the Humanitarian Reset.

  • Members Café: In this session, priorities for 2026 were captured through interactive inputs.

  • Help Desks: The secretariat provided in-person practical support across MEAL, Comms, GESI, and Business Development functions to those members who were interested.

This year’s AGM was a time for members to reaffirm ADRRN’s role as a member-led network that convenes, learns, and acts together. The AGM underscored shared focus areas for 2026, including evidence-based advocacy, locally led adaptation and anticipatory action, stronger emergency response collaboration, and more effective use of thematic hubs.
