We are proud to share the news that Prof. Dr. Quazi Quamruzzaman, Chairman of Dhaka Community Hospital Trust (DCH Trust) and Community Initiative Society (CIS) has received the Ekushey Padak of 2021 in Bangladesh, in recognition of his contributions to social service.
This is the second highest civilian award in Bangladesh; the name Ekushey is important to Bengali nationalism, referring to 21 February 1952, commemorated as Language Movement Day and International Mother Language Day.
