ADRRN’s Indonesian members that are conducting emergency response as of 2 October 2018 – Humanitarian Forum Indonesia (Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Centre, Dompet Dhuafa, YAKKUM Emergency Unit, Wahana Visi Indonesia, KARINA/Caritas Indonesia through Caritas of Manado Diocesan and Caritas of Makassar Diocesan, PKPU Human Initiative with MERCY Malaysia, Church World Service Indonesia, Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, Rebana Indonesia, Rumah Zakat, Disaster Management and Climate Change Agency of Nahdlatul Ulama, BAZNAS’s Emergency Response Team); SHEEP Indonesia; 118 Ambulance Service; and Yakkum Emergency Unit.
 
Priorities in emergency response include continuing evacuation, search and rescue of the victims; mass burial; accelerating electricity recovery, availability of petrol particularly for households generator set and cellular operator; logistic distribution and food items for IDPs; and accelerating communication network. Representative from the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) has strongly stated that humanitarian partners should make concrete and written offers first, which will be reviewed to ensure the offer meet humanitarian needs, before granting access. AHA Centre is supporting in registering and coordinating the offers of assistance.
