Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network is a network consists of 52 national and international NGOs from more than 20 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. With a strong footprint in the region, the network members are constantly engaged with local communities strengthening their ability to combat disasters, providing humanitarian aid like food, water, shelter and health care, protecting critical facilities like schools and hospitals, creating awareness, advocating for policy changes and improving the capacity of community based organizations.

On 22 December 2018, an unexpected tsunami hit Serang in Banten, Indonesia. Ambulance 118 Foundation, together with support from JAPFA Foundation and PT Medihop sent four ambulances to Serang, Banten and set up a management and medical support in Berkah Pandeglang Public Hospital. Coordination were established with the Municipal Health Office for Banten, and the Hospital's Director. Two ambulances were sent to the isolated Kampung Sumur. Supported from PT Medihop, JAPFA Foundation and Ibu Ati, we delivered food, drinks, blankets and hygiene kits to the community in Kampung Sumur. We also set up a low-technology tele medicine in Berkah Pandeglang Public Hospital as an Incident Command for all community clinics for effective and quick communication.
