The 4th Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction is scheduled to be hosted from 26th to 28th October 2010 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon , Republic of Korea. Pre-conference events are organized for Monday 25th October 2010, by conference partners.

The “ bi-annual “ Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction provides an unique opportunity where Governments can reaffirm their commitments towards the implementation of Hyogo Framework for Action by sharing successful practices and valuable experiences.
 
 
The theme of the conference is “Disaster Risk Reduction through Climate change Adaptation,” with particular focus given to the alignment of common approaches and policies. The gathering will also seek to develop tangible solutions using emerging technologies, as well as promote DRR and CCA information sharing including technical developments.

ADRRN in partnership with Kyoto University will be hosting a side event on “Civil Society network on resilient Cities”.
