Dr. Manu Gupta
Manu Gupta is the co-founder and director of SEEDS, a non-profit organization working in disaster reduction and response in Asia. For over 15 years, Manu has worked with a strong commitment towards strengthening resilience of communities vulnerable to natural disasters and effects of climate change. His work covers a wide spectrum of communities in South Asia including direct work in various parts of India, Afghanistan, Maldives, Myanmar and resource support for interventions in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Pakistan and Malaysia.
He is the co-founder and member of the core group of the National Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction in India. He is part of Steering Committee of the Global Network of CSOs for Disaster Reduction. Besides, he serves on various national committees of the Government of India. Manu holds a doctorate degree in community based disaster management.

Dr. Aik Cheng Heng
Dr. Heng Aik Cheng, is an orthopaedic surgeon who volunteers with Mercy Malaysia and has been in the Executive Committee since 2002. He has extensive experience as a first responder providing emergency medical care in areas of complex and natural disasters and has worked in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Acheh, Jogjakarta, Padang, North Korea, Pakistan, Iraq, Myanmar, Gaza and Chile. He serves in the Board of ADRRN and represents Mercy Malaysia in APG-AADMER, APC-MADRO, ALNAP and HFP. |

Timotius Apriyanto
Timotius Apriyanto is Deputy Director of Society for Health Education Environment and Peace (SHEEP) Indonesia/ SHEEP Indonesia, an NGO that works with communities in Yogyakarta, Central Java, Aceh and Papua. A civil engineer by training, he currently also holds positions with the Capacity Building Program for KIA Partner Organizations in Java, the Capacity Building Program on DRR for Civil Society Organizations in Sumatera, Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara and the Alliance of Self Reliant Peace Building. |

Quazi Quamruzzaman
Quazi Quamruzzaman is Chairman of the Dhaka Community Hospital Trust. A surgeon by profession, with specialisation in pediatric surgery, he has over 30 years of experience. He has taught at Dhaka Shishu Hospital and Dhaka National Hospital and has been associated with a range of national and international Medical associations. He continues to be a member of the National Steering Committee for Arsenic, Gov. of Bangladesh.

Merlie.B. Mendoza
Merlie “ Milet” B. Mendoza was Execeutive Co-ordinator of Tabang Mindanaw, a broad coalition of coprporate and media foundations, and civil society groups for humanitarian , peace and development programs in Mindanao , Philippines, since April 1998 until May 2007. Milet has ten years of peace building and development work experience with various departments under the office of the President, Philippines: the Office of the Presidential Advisor on Rural Development; and the Peace Commission (1989-1991), National Unification Commission (1992-1993), Office of the Presidential Advisor on Peace Process (1994-95) and te Government Peace Negotiating Panel for Talks with the Communist Rebels (1996-1998).

Amod Dixit
Mr. Dixit holds a Master's Degree in Geology from the Leningrad Mining University (1973), and another Master's Degree (Geotechnical Engineering) from the Asian Institute of Technology. He served with the Department of Mines and Geology of Nepal for 19 years and with the National Society for Earthquake Technology Nepal (NSET) as Executive Director from 1997. During 1990-1998 he was the Director of a private engineering consulting firm. Mr. Dixit is twice recipient of the National Disaster Relief Medal of Nepal, the first WSSI Fellowship 2000-2003, Science and Technology Promotion Award 2005 of Nepal, Disaster Mitigation Award-2009 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He is one of the founders of ADRRN and has since served as its Board Member.

Eng. Mohammad Naeem Salimee
Director General of Coordination of Afghan Relief (CoAR), an independent, non-governmental and non-political organization, created at the initiative of a group of Afghans in September 1989 .CoAR has implemented projects in 34 provinces of Afghanistan and has ongoing programs in more than 20 provinces. A former Faculty of Kabul University, Naeem is highly organized, tenacious and able to handle roles of multiple responsibilities. He is also the chairperson of STARS (Skills Training and Rehabilitation Society) that works with marginalized women towards economic empowerment in Afghanistan.
