Dr.Jemilah Mahmood MERCY Malaysia

Dr. Jemilah Mahmood is the founder and President of MERCY Malaysia, a medical and humanitarian NGO, since 1999. She is an active field worker leading most of the missions in natural and complex humanitarian disasters. For her selfless work, she was awarded the first “East Asia Women’s Award for Peace" (Humanitarian Services Category) in August 2003, sharing the honour with the likes of former Philippine President Corazon Aquino & Myanmar’s Aung San Suu Kyi. She is also a core member of the ADRRN having participated in all its meetings since February 2002. [resume]

Mr. Manu Gupta SEEDS India
Program Director & Founder Member of Sustainable Environment & Ecological Development Society (SEEDS), since January 1994. During this tenure, directed various projects in the area of community based environmental and disaster management. He is also a core member of the ADRRN having participated in all its meetings since February 2002. [resume]
Ms. Milet Mendoza Tabang Mindanaw , Phillippines

As the Executive Director of Tabang Mindanaw, Philippines, she isimmensely experienced in coordinating emergency humanitarian assistance during the El Niño Southern Central Mindanao, and also during the war between government forces and Moro Islamic Liberation Front in Mindanao displacing civilian populations in 2000 to 2003. Recently coordinated emergency response for internally displaced peoples Sulu, Western Mindanao; and the landslides victims in Quezon Province, Southern Luzon.[resume]

Mr. Amod Dixit National Society for Earthquake Technology (NSET), Nepal

Mr. Dixit is one of the founder members of National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET). He is with NSET as its Executive Director and General Secretary since 1997. Mr. Dixit was awarded (twice) the National Disaster Relief Medal by His Majesty the King of Nepal. He was also awarded the first WSSI Fellowship by the World Seismic Safety Initiative (WSSI) for the period 2000-2003. He is also a core member of the ADRRN having participated in all its meetings since February 2002. [resume]

Eng. Mohammad Naeem Salimee Coordination of Afghan Relief (CoAR)

Highly organized, tenacious and able to handle roles of responsibility producing results, with a positive attitude, Naeem is able to handle multiple assignments under high pressure and meet tight deadlines. With a professional appearance and strong work ethic, he has excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication and training skills. He is also an active member of the ADRRN. [resume]
