-- Acehnese Students go to Australia. FBA has selected 2 boys, Agus Firman from SMA 1 Lhoknga and Izzan Nur Aslam from SMA 3 Banda Aceh to visit Scotch College , in Perth Australia for a month in March 2007. They will be accompanied by an English teacher Ibu Putri Albaniah from SMA 1 Lhoknga, Aceh Besar. This program is sponsored by Scotch College , and International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). This is the second exchange run by FBA under school to school program.

-- Exchange Workshop on Micro Economic Development. A sharing workshop participated by American Jewish World Service (AJWS) grantee NGOs was held on 28 February 2007. The workshop was fully sponsored by AJWS in order to share each grantee's experiences in dealing with grass root level people in Aceh. Mr. Laurensius Salem, a resource person from Pancur Kasih Foundation shared his experience in running a successful revolving fund program in West Kalimantan . Two important actions were planned—an exchange workshop amongst the recipients of the grant and a research on revolving program in Aceh .
